Description
Gov4Nano projektet vil etablere et bredt accepteret selvetableret råd og værktøjer til moderne risikoledelse og sikker innovation indenfor nanoteknologi. Der vil blive lagt stor vægt på etablering af platforme som kan fremme dialog med og mellem hovedinteressenterne (forskning, virksomheder, samfundet, regulatorer, forsikring branchen mv.) indenfor alle de vigtigste nanoteknologiske discipliner (f.eks. kemi, biocider, mad og foder, farmakologiske og medicinske redskaber, og materialeteknologi). For at understøtte virksomheders risikoledelse vil den web-baserede Nano-Risk Governance Portal etableret i caLIBRAte blive videreudviklet med mere viden, data, vejledninger og metoder, og state-of-the-art gennemprøvede værktøjer til at understøtte virksomheders risikoledelse af nanoteknologisk innovation bredt.
Endelig har projektet indlejret en stor aktivitet, som leverer videnskabelige resultater til udviklingen af en række vigtige OECD test guidelines og guidance dockumenter, som understøtter ny regulering af nanomaterialer i REACH.
